3 Tips to maximize product sales - How to convert your audience into paying customers with effective package design. |
A well planned product package design can make the difference. Understand and accommodate your target market, research buying trends and avoid potential pitfalls.
Does your package design convert maximum sales?
We want to develop a strategy that does. In order for your packing design to convert your audience into paying customers consider these 3 tips.

| 1) |
Understand your target market. |
— Package design that works for one target market may not work for another. For example, certain shapes and sizes may generate interest in some markets while convenience of storage may prove to be the deciding factor for others. In other situations you may simply need to engage your customers by using the right combination of colors and graphics on your packaging design to make your product stand out from others.
— It is important that we understand your customer base so can we employ characteristics that appeal to your demographic. For example, if your average age demographic is 60 plus then we will ensure such things as the size of print on the package design are high priority. Have an idea of what attributes are important to your customer base, then we will include them in your packaging design. |
| 2) |
Retail product placement. |
— Educate us on the environment where your product might be sold and/or displayed. Many retailers have several hundred products with limited space to store and display your product package. Your product may be cutting edge or sought after but if your product package is awkward to display or doesn’t fit within your retailer’s prime real estate then it may not generate the profit required for the retailer to continue selling it. Keep in mind that if your product does not generate enough profit for the reseller then they will simply not have a need for it. |
| 3) |
Consider the benefits of “green” packaging. |
— People really do care about the environment these days. You may want to avoid certain materials that may not be deemed as environmentally safe. If you do use “green” materials be sure to let us know so we can promote this on your product packaging design. |
